August 2010 Ministry Update!

As always, the past month has been non-stop and September will be no different!

As you know, this past month I was able to represent Eagles’ Wings as part of a team that ministered in Quito, Ecuador. We arrived in the City on August 12th and began preparations for 2 nights of worship and a CD recording that would take place. Over the two nights, thousands came from across the city to worship together in unity!

I had the privilege of meeting Pastor David Sierra, the senior pastor of Bethlehem Church and the visionary behind the two nights of worship. It was so awesome to spend time with him and to see his heart for worship and for his nation! The Lord is raising up leaders like King David in this hour with true hearts of worship!

 

God has opened up the doors of Latin America for Eagles’ Wings as I will be traveling with another member of the EW team to Mexico City September 23-26. During our time there we will be speaking and leading worship at an “Open heavens” Conference and we are believing with the local leadership there for great, long term impact in Mexico City… a city that is plagued by violence and crime.

I want to specially thank all of my monthly supporters, prayer partners, and those that have given to the work of Eagles’ Wings this past month. It is such a blessing to be surrounded by so many whose partnership is allowing this ministry work to continue. I especially want to thank pastors Kevin and Cathy Stone, Pastors Shane and Jeannie Amar, and Pastors Dan and Sue Caldwell for their amazing friendship, encouragement, and support!

Remember, you and I together are impacting nations like Ecuador, Mexico, Israel, and the United States! Thank you for your continued prayers and support as we enter into the fall months  together!

Quito, Ecuador Video Update 8-15-10

Wow!  What a powerful trip it has been so far!  Thousands have come together to worship in the center of the city for the past 2 nights and there is more to come as we minister at the church service (which will be at the rented stadium) Sunday morning.  Thank you for all of your prayers!

Urgent Update, Ecuador Trip

As you know, in just a few hours I will be leaving for Quito, Ecuador for several days of ministry there. AS I am sitting here in the airport, I just received word that there has been a 6.9 magnitude earthquake centered just outside the city of Quito. It appears that there is no immediate damage, but please continue to cover this trip in prayer… for physical protection and safety for myself and our whole team.

URGENT: QUITO, Ecuador -- A magnitude-6.9 earthquake has shaken the South American nation of Ecuador, but there are no immediate reports of damage or injuries.

The 6:54 a.m. quake was felt in the nation's capital, Quito.

The U.S. Geological Survey says the quake was centered 106 miles southeast of Quito. But it was also very deep -- about 114 miles below the surface.

August 4th from The Bronx, NYC

This past weekend several from the Eagles' Wings team and I went to New York City to lead worship for the Bronx House of Prayer 10th anniversary banquet.  There is an amazingly healthy and cutting edge movement of unified prayer and action in the Bronx that regularly gathers over 50 churches together.  Over the past 12 years, Eagles' Wings has had a role in helping to see this movement develop and grow.  Thank you to all that have supported the work of Eagles' Wings through your giving and prayers!  You are building a unified movement in New York City!
